Perhaps one of the most ironic thing that happened to me on exchange is I've got to know the people from back home better. When we were traveling together, when my friends come to visit me in Seattle, I got to know the side of them which I never have the chance to see from the "Hi"s and "bye"s in nus law. So we were friends last time. But now we're real friends because we actually TALK.
It's sad that we're going to go back to that place where we rush for classes and assignments everyday and never have the chance to talk deeply with one another. Perhaps when we're out of the law school frame we can act more like normal down-to-earth human beings.

Can you believe it?
Today I looked at my calendar and realized I only have 24 days left here!
I've been here for such a loooong time, and now I really can't imagine leaving this place for good (it's quite unlikely for me to come back in the near future). I came here alone and now I've met so many friends and went through so many things. I'm not sure whether I can adjust to the life back in Sg, or whether I can cope with missing this place and the pple I met too much..
Anyway, I just finished my exams ytd, and school is officially over for me. I'm joining my friends for graduation, lol even if I'm not really graduating they say I can still borrow their hats and coats and take photo! It's really unfair, besides for saving the tuition fees...cos I've been taking exactly the same classes as my friends, and they're all graduating with degrees.
Seattle is now into the summer season, and I'm also getting into the summer mode - wearing sunglasses (99.99% of seattlites wear sunglasses in the sun, cos the sun is RARE), wear skirts, eat ice cream, frozen yogurt, go for dancing parties, hang out around in the sun~~~
If I have an air ticket in my hand (restricted within the US), which state/city should I go? Any suggestions?
I've set up a photo blog , just some random pictures that I've took during this journey abroad, some nice views that I wanna share with you all. Not a pro photographer's work but at least can tell a story from my eyes. Feel free to give comments...
I'll be back on 26th June(will be touring Japan before that)! Hee, so look forward till then.
Enjoy ur hols/interns/slacking around!

Today is the last class for my law and economics course. The professor ended with something which probably will make me remember more than any of his economics theories.
He told us a story about his kindergarten friend, Rogie.

One day the kindergarten teacher asked the kids, what do you wanna be in life?
The kids answered the normal jobs like doctors, nurses, policeman etc. And when it came to Rogie, he said he wants to be a fire engine. The teacher told him, you can never be a fire engine. Rogie replied, 'But my mum says you can be anything you wanna be in life.'
And my prof shared that little story with us, telling us that even though we're in law school now, it doesnt mean we have to follow the usual path to become lawyers. Law school is opening us to many other opportunities, and it's never too late to be whatever we want to be in life.
Children are never scared of dreaming big. Perhaps the older we grow, the more timid we become. Cos we have tasted the feeling of losing things, hence we're more scared to aim high.
If only we can all be like Rogie.

Anyway my exams are coming soon. Just went to victoria and olympic penisula (near seattle) for the weekend on a roadtrip with my friends from law sch. Here are some pics!
